I hope you find a pocket of time this holiday season to explore in nature & revel in the lands from which we all came & will one day return. Happy Holidays from the Iowa prairie!

  1. Beautiful! Our weather was dry and warmish today. We got outside and dug up some metal in the yard with our new metal detector. Thanks Santa!

  2. Your photos make grey, cloudy days look completely enchanting – look at all those blues and ochres! And the grasses are so pretty too!
I hope you have been enjoying a wonderful holiday with lots and lots of time to revel out of doors 🙂 xoxo

    • Thank you, Leigh! We traveled North to my parents in NW Wisconsin for Christmas and it snowed up there on our last day–quite a treat! It was a lovely scene, but I agree with you–there is something beautiful in the grey, drab winter landscape if you take the time to revel in it. Happy Holidays to your family, too! xx
