Fresh Off the Needles

Finished a set of handknit slouchy caps today–always feels brilliant to cast off that last stitch of a project. These caps sport a larger band with a child-sized amount of slouch for two little brainiac sister sweethearts residing in the City of Brotherly Love {who keep swiping their mother’s slouchy cap–stinkers with excellent taste, no doubt!}. Tricky to photograph knits indoors on rainy, overcast days…but it sure is pleasant to knit on such dreary autumn days with a cup of warm beverage beside you & happy children at your feet. xoxo

Leaf Merriment!

Everyone must, at some juncture in their life, enjoy the pleasure of a good romp in the leaves. This was the first time for our youngest, Miss {2.5yo} Junebug, and she absolutely adored the experience! Her big sister has always loved raking leaves since she was a wee one. June seems to prefer just sitting in a lovely pile. They make a good team. xoxo
